Which Nikon or Samsung camera the best to get while on a low budget?

I’d like to buy Nikon or Samsung, but I’m open to others. I want to get a good digital camera but I’m young so I don’t really have ways to make money except like pet/babysitting every so often. Of course, I get money from my birthday and Christmas, but my birthday is in January so I’d have to wait a long time.

    I would say samsung.. Just because I got a nikon when I was on small budget… it SUCKED. no sound, the guy said there was, it beeps yeah, but when you try to record a video it doesnt record the sound. When I put new battieres in it, it never wants to turn on. Sometimes it will be working just fine and then it says battery is dead and will shut off. yet, If I wait a day or so, it will say the battery is full?? Its not one where you one battery you recharge, it takes double A.

    So.. I would say…
    DONT get a camera that you need to put batteries into it.
    DO get one that uses a card for memory
    DONT get one that doesnt come with sound
    DO get one that has more then at least 4-5 megapixels
    and DONT DONT DONT get the cheapest one.

    I would say go with a kodak easy share. People always seem to like theirs. :)

    You can probully get a REALLY nice one that is cheap because the economy is doing so bad.

    Nikons are normally more expenensive if you are going all out on the features and whatnot. Samsung is alright, i used to have a samsung camera, and i disn’t really like it. Here is site that compares them-

    My sister has the nikon Coolpix and it is amazing. I have a Kodak HD Video Camera- it is also amazingg!!
