  My answer may not be to your liking but here goes! I have owned a Olympus film camera for 15-to-20 years and never had a problem with it. I own a Samsung washer & dryer for 3 yrs and they are the cat’s meow!

  I personally don’t think you will go wrong with either Samsung or Olympus. So then, I would use my advise to purchase the camera that is the most comfortable to hold, location of controls, etc.

  Depends.. Olympus makes really nice cameras, Samsung too.
